Why House of Margot was created

Ever since I was a child, I have always loved keeping my bedroom tidy, moving furniture around, seeking harmony and making it a special place.
Over time, I have often helped friends find solutions for their homes (all it took was an invitation for coffee to spark my imagination, and 30 minutes later I would have turned their entire living room upside down).
What prompted me to start this project is that I want to help people feel good in their own homes, and you don't always need a huge amount of money to make a home cosy.
Houses and flats for rent
Another important issue for me is that you don't always have to spend a fortune to have a beautiful home. Many people in Switzerland live in rented accommodation and often don't want to invest money because it's not their home. But sometimes it takes very little to make a big change:
Change the layout of the furniture
Find some special items at a flea market
Repaint a wall
Give a sense of colour and texture to the objects that belong to us
Tidy up (but in a logical way)
Eliminate the superfluous (it's true, the less you have, the better you feel)
A handy friend
I have always been the friend who not only knew how to tidy up the house, but also how to use a drill and hammer to put up that shelf that had been lying on the floor for a year, or finally hang up that lamp that was becoming an excellent plant pot. What I always loved about these moments was seeing my friends filled with joy after just one day spent together sorting out these small but important details. Yes, perhaps it is the word “together” that makes all the difference. Sometimes it's not that you don't know how to do certain things, but doing them alone doesn't give you the right motivation, the right drive. With the right support, however, you can truly work miracles.
Spreading happiness
So here I am, wanting to spread a little happiness, but above all, a lot of my enthusiasm in your homes!
Because even if your home seems truly catastrophic and impossible to “fix”, for me it will be a playground of emotions to transform!
But only if YOU really want it!
Are you ready?
Let's go!
Margot :-)
