TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Service provider
House of Margot services are provided by:

Arlena Ton — House of Margot
Zimikerstrasse 9
8610 Uster, Switzerland
Email: houseofmargot@outlook.com

These terms apply to services provided to clients residing in Switzerland. Individual agreements confirmed in writing take priority over these terms.
2. Services and booking
House of Margot offers advice, decluttering support, space organisation and interior styling, online and in your home.

An enquiry involves no commitment. Before confirming a service, we agree in writing on the work, price, date and any additional expenses. Your booking is confirmed once both parties have accepted these arrangements.

For Transformation, the quotation also specifies the assessment, planning, research and on-site work included.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF). VAT is currently not charged.

Payment is due:
-
for 1-Hour Boost, before the consultation;
-
for 1 Day Reset, at the end of the working day;
-
for Transformation, according to the deposit and payment schedule stated in the quotation.
-

The planned payment methods are TWINT and card payment through the website, once activated. I will tell you which method is available before confirmation. Any alternative payment method will be agreed in writing.

Any additional work or expense requires your approval before proceeding. Future price changes do not affect the price already agreed.
4. What is included and what costs extra
1 Day Reset includes six hours of on-site work, plus the initial assessment and preparation. The lunch break is not counted within the six hours.

Return travel is included if the journey from Uster station to your address takes no more than 45 minutes each way by public transport, including walking time. For longer journeys, we agree on any supplement in advance.

Basic tools and small consumables needed for the agreed tasks, such as nails and screws, are included.

You purchase furniture, storage containers and specific materials directly, with my advice if needed. Disposal, transport of belongings and external assistance are not included and are agreed separately.

Additional working time costs CHF 75 per hour and must be agreed before the extra work begins, including when the need arises during the day.

For other services, the service description and accepted quotation apply.
5. Working together
You must remain present during work in your home. Decisions about what to keep, donate or discard always remain yours.

You do not need to tidy up before I arrive. Please tell me in advance about access difficulties, fragile items or other circumstances relevant to working safely.

I can carry out small practical tasks agreed in advance and within my abilities. Work requiring a qualified professional will be carried out by an appropriate specialist, with costs agreed separately.

We agree on a realistic goal. The result also depends on the starting situation and the decisions involved. Completing an entire room or home in one day cannot be guaranteed.
6. Cancellations and changes
You can cancel or reschedule 1-Hour Boost free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice, and 1 Day Reset with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Late cancellations, missed appointments and ending a Transformation project are covered by the Cancellation Policy, made available before confirmation. The full price is not charged automatically: any amount claimed must be justified and permitted by law.

If I need to cancel, we will agree on a new date or I will refund payments for services not provided. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Confidentiality and photographs
I treat information and images received during our work together with discretion.

Photographs are published on the website, in the portfolio or on social media only with separate consent. You can use my services without agreeing to publication.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
8. Problems and liability
I carry out my work with care. If something is wrong or you notice any damage, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible so we can clarify the situation and look for a solution.

Liability and your rights concerning damage or services that have not been properly performed are governed by Swiss law. These terms do not restrict any mandatory rights provided by law.
9. Applicable law
Swiss law applies. Any dispute is subject to the courts competent under the law, including the rules protecting consumers’ rights to bring proceedings in the appropriate court.

Updated versions of these terms apply to future bookings and do not change agreements already concluded.
